Dear Mrs Tyszko,
I'm Martha, I'm from Germany and my plan is to spend the whole following year
WWOOFing. In early August, I'll arrive in Edinburgh. I just found your
profile and I really like it, the work that has to be done, the animals, the
isle (which looks stunning), your craft! Do you still can take a WWOOFer in
September? I would gladly support you with everything that comes up for a
while then! I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for your response, that sounds good! As I haven't got any fixed host for September yet, I'm actually very open and flexible in time. My last fixed stay ends on the 31st of August in Edinburgh, so that it would be best for me to arrive then or right in the beginning of September.

That's fine Martha,
Just let us know nearer the time when you wish to come.
I don't know what we can find for your to do, but we'll think of something! It might be painting walls or not very farming type stuff at that time of year,  Cutting grass, turning the compost, weeding. Deplends on lthe weather.
I have to work in my studio every afternoon.
Anyway look forward to meeting you.

Hi Sallie, I'll have details soon but I would also stay the whole month if possible!!  I'm sure there's something useful for me to do, and the examples you mentioned are very cool for me! I'm also good at keeping myself busy (I will explore the isle anyway), so this won't be a problem for me. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

As it stands now, I have to leave Edinburgh on the 31st of August, and would try to make the journey to Lewis in one day so that I would arrive already on the 31st of August, if possible!!?

Hello Martha,
You may need to stay in Ullapool as there is no bus in the evenings to Tobson from Stornoway, and no buses at all on Sunday. We are nearly an hour travel from Stornoway. There are 4 or 5 buses daily. Check out;-

My husband is away a lot and i don't drive very far from the house!
Maybe the Youth hostel in Ullapool is the cheapest place to stay or one of the unofficial hostels in Inverness.

Thanks, Sallie! Yesterday, I bought my bus tickets for Sunday the 31st of August to Ullapool and booked one night in the Ullapool youth hostel, so everything should be fine. Should I book a ferry ticket for Monday in advance?
